Prosource Business Solutions Inc. is in need of a LINUX/DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR for DATA MANAGEMENT to be deployed to our client which is the leading global optical solutions company located in Alabang, Muntinlupa. See more details below:

•          Php 70,000 to Php 120,000 Salary offer
•          Alabang area
•          Regular working hours
•          Candidate should be able to start ASAP

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Support the IT Application interface and automation by being second tier support for related issues.

2. Work with IT personnel to elicit requirements for automation of Integration services

3. Automate the Application deployment and User Authorization and Authentication

4. Support technology improvements such as new infrastructure install and software upgrade and engineering support.

5. Design and deploy scripting automation of system monitoring and administration using shell scripting.

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Participate to the search and qualification of related solutions

2. Provide monthly reports on activity, quality and performance of these System Infrastructures.

3. Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures

PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES

1. Total Experience 2 – 4 years in Application servers administration, Maintenance and deployment

2. Expert knowledge on SQL queries and Database optimization.

3. Shell Scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Power Shell, NodeJS, Java Scripts)

4. Linux Administration (Intermediate)

5. Distributed DB management (PgSQL, MS SQL, Graph DB basic)

6. Fundamentals of Enterprise Data Warehousing solutions, Data retention governance processes

7. Understands Technical and Functional requirements, feedbacks, and coordinate changes in administration and maintenance.

8. Experience in Agile (Scrum, Kanban) / Dev Ops / Could Ops environment

9. Knowledge in Network

10. Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS

11. Knowledge in ITIL framework
