Prosource Business Solutions Inc. is hiring for a Scheduler Administrator for its client which is the worldwide leading company in the vision lens market. To support the Business, the Group IT is developingan IT Shared Services Center.

As a member of the Infrastructure Shared Services, the Scheduler Administrator will represent his/her department towards the Business Units and project teams and will assure a determining role in the management, support, maintenance, implementation, administration and lifecycle management of the Schedulers platforms.

He/she will be positioned as a level 3 in the organization, using his/her expertise for level of escalation in case of incidents and for the contribution in the qualification of new solutions, assisting in the deployment. The role is providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and for project based work to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services.

He/She will assure a key role in the administration of Essilor’s jobs Scheduling Infrastructure, while promoting the best practices associated with the use of this technology. He/She will develop job flows for the department own needs and maintaining functionally & technically the in-house underlying scripting framework. He/She will be also validating new version of the Scheduling tools and follow-up on platform-wide incident resolution with the Software Editor.

This person must be able to lead, operate and continuously improve the environments distributed across 600+ remote locations throughout EUROPE, Asia, US, Latam and Canada.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Scheduling software administration and support: review/test/deploy new software versions, pro-actively follow-up on the platforms performances (capacity planning), platform incident follow-up and resolution in relationship with the Software Editor, assistance and expertise relay for the other Essilor groups.
2. Publishing related KPIs.
3. In-house framework maintenance and support: collect/review/implement change requests, offers expertise regarding the framework to the other groups, propose new solutions to enhance the framework functionalities. Framework related incidents follow-up and resolution.
4. Infrastructure jobflows development: collect/review/implement requests for new infrastructure-related job flows. Jobflows-related incidents follow-up and resolution.
5. Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for other groups of users



Primary Technical abilities:

1. CA-Autosys Workload Automation R11.3.5 (and up) scheduling software administration.
2. Familiar with complex Jobflow designs under CA-Autosys environment
3. Knowledge and understanding in PERL programming language and modules management
Knowledge of other dynamic programming languages (ex: Python) will be considered if willing to learn and develop Perlexpertise by him/herself
4. Knows how to use/work with a Source Management system (SVN, gits, PVCS,..)



Secondary Technical abilities:

1. Basic knowledge of linux shell and DOS batch scriptings
2. Know-how on EEM security implementation for such platform a plus.
3. Basic administration/analysis skills on Windows Server (NT to Win2012) and linux
4. Understanding of the web-based application architectures (mainly MVC designs)
5. Understanding of MS-SQL features and 5. basic SQL skills
6. Understanding on AWS-based environments
7. Knowledge in ITIL framework
8. Knowledge on Infrastructure (Servers, Storage, Network)


General/Behavior Abilities:

1. Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field
2. At least 5 years’ experience in IT support and maintenance, System analysis, System developer or related fields.
3. Self motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession,
4. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department,
5. Customer service oriented,
6. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. English speaking mandatory (French reading would be
appreciated)
7. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints,
8. Able to take decisions/initiatives on his/her own
9. Willing to do some traveling
10. Dedication
