Prosource Business Solutions Inc. is hiring for AWS Administrator

POSITION PURPOSE :
Our CLIENT is the worldwide leading company in the vision lens market. To support the Business, the Grou IT is developing an IT Shared Services Center.
As a member of the Infrastructure Shared Services , the Amazon AWS administrator will represent his/her department towards the Business Units and project teams and will assure a determining role in the management, support, maintenance, implementation, administration and lifecycle management of AWS environments.
He/she will be positioned as a level 2 in the organization, using his/her expertise for level of escalation in case of incidents and for the contribution in the qualification of new solutions, assisting in the deployment. The role is providing day to day operational support for existing infrastructure services and users of those services, and for project based work to the development and deployment of new infrastructure services.
This person must have deep knowledge in infrastructure technologies and in AWS features, and must be able to lead, operate and continuously improve the environments distributed across 600+ remote locations throughout EUROPE, Asia, US, Latam and Canada.
 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Maintain under operational conditions the current and new AWS environments in respect of the Support processes
2. Build, deploy and administer/manage the current and new AWS environments and features in respect of the Standards defined by the Group
3. Strong level of operational support on:
- Troubleshooting, incidents and problem management,
- Reporting and communication on activity, quality and performance of the AWS platforms
- Ensure appropriate documentation, including procedures for supports.
4. Assist new implementations of AWS components
5. Pro-active in ensuring stability, response time, operational consistency and life cycle over the AWS solutions

SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Contribute to search and qualification to new solutions
2. Provide recommendations to highest level of expertise teams
 

PRIMARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:1. Administration and troubleshooting of AWS environments
2. Creating environment in AWS from CODE (infra as a code) using Cloudformation or Terraform
3. Experience in migration of servers from legacy Data centers to Cloud AWS
4. Experience with building infrastructures in AWS with securing of the environments: Viral securities, Reliability
5. Ability to demonstrate competencies with AWS services: EC2, IAM, EBS, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB, Route53…
6. Strong experience in servers operating systems (Windows and Linux)
 

 SECONDARY TECHNICAL ABILITIES:1. Knowledge on Infrastructure Solutions (Servers, Storage …)
2. Knowledge in ITIL framework
3. Experience with other Cloud environment such as Azure, Google, or others
4. Knowledge of DevOps technologies is appreciated
 

BEHAVIOR ABILITIES:
1. 3-7 years experience in infrastructure, with 1-3 years as AWS administrator
2. AWS Sysops certification
3. Experience in scripting
4. Self motivated, eager to learn in the IT profession
5. Team player must be able to work with people within and outside of the IT department.
6. Customer service oriented
7. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
8. English speaking mandatory
9. Ability to analyze and synthesize situations and understand the business constraints
10. Willing to do some traveling
