Salary: PHP 40,000 to PHP 80,000

Work schedule: 5pm to 2am

Location: Makati

Type of employment:  Direct hire, Full-time – Probationary

Job Description

This person will be part of an exciting and growing company based in the USA. The company invests in considerable effort in the quality of code they produce, and developers joining the team find that they improve their coding skill levels working for the company.

Responsibilities

·       Create and run detailed test plan.

·       Identify, isolate and document system deficiencies in a clear. Concise manner.

·       Perform smoke tests after deployment

·       Complete white box / black box testing, integration testing, data verification, UI testing

·       Design and execute a test plan with minimal supervision.

·       Work with developers, technical teams and management to ensure  project objectives are being met.

·       Should have the ability to create, documentation on both testing and system flow and functionality

·       Build up, maintain and run a suite of regression tests.

Core Skills

·       3++ years of experience of solid manual QA testing.

·       Has knowledge and exposure to automated testing.

·       Experience testing web applications.

·       Experience using bug-tracking systems like Jira

·       Experience with the following: Java, Selenium Web Driver, SQL, Jira, Agile Process

·       Basic SQL knowledge

·       Knows how to set up automation testing.

Preferred Skills

·       Familiarity in PHP, Python and Javascript HTML is a plus

·       Strong English verbal and written communication skills

·       The cancidate is expected to become a Subject Matter Expert of the application and interact with the business side of the company.
